Just look away This isn't me Just look away Away from this lie
I can't run free I feel the wind The earth below my paws Just set me free
I want to go Go to a place Where I can be me Just set me free
My howl is gone My spirit broken My heart is gone Gone from this world
It went to a place A place far away Just set me free Then take me away
(Written to all those who are kept away from their lives) -Tala Kyo
I broke down and cried when I saw this wolf... he was in an enclosure about 500 feet long and 50 feet wide. A few trees were scattered here and there within it... but where he is supposed to sleep if a fricking Igloo dog house... I don't like see wolves anyplace but running wild and free.
He kept staring at me as if asking me to let him go, to take him far away from that place. I saw the broken spirit within his eyes and it just tore my heart out.
I'm going to be starting a fund to raise money to buy a ranch and start a wolf ranch, were wolves can run wild and free as they were ment to be.
i completely agree. i can't even bear to go to zoos for years now. humans are the cruelest animals. i support a pack of timber wolves and a ranch in Wales that is introducing wolves back to britan. i'm really happy you'll do something about this.

this picture and your description broke my heart... it is so sad to live wild animals enclosed in such tiny cages when they should be running free. in scotland, where i live, our local zoo had the last captive polar bear in britain. the bears fur had gone green due to disease and she had several mental and behavioural problems that she had developed because she was living in a tiny cage with a cement floor and a tiny pony only a few inches deep-not exactly a great place to live. although, thankfully she's been sent to a wildlife sanctury int the highlands where she has a massive enclosure and a much happier life
